At Sown, we practice what we preach. We are reflecting on and improving our sustainability practices every day. The sustainability of our packaging is very important to us and we have researched the leaders of sustainable packaging.

We have partnered with HeapsGood who are...heaps good; Hero Packaging - our hero; and Paper Go Round...who are trying to make sure our earth keeps going round! 

                    

Mailers

Our Ecomailers are plant based and home compostable! The process is completed in about 6 months compared to about 300 years for plastic. 

Printing and Labels

We use a thermal printer (which doesn't use ink) to print on our compostable Ecolabels. We use Hex Wrap rather than bubble wrap and Recycled Kraft Ecopaper instead of tissue paper (which costs the earth). We even use water activated tape or ecotape to seal! 

Garment Bags

Our garment bags are completely home compostable too! However, we don’t believe in waste - if our products are already in bags (even if it’s plastic), we will send as is. We might add a compostable Ecosticker on it to let you know. 

Thank you notes 

We wouldn’t be Sown if we didn’t give you something to sow! Our thank you notes are printed on seed paper for you to plant. Anything from mixed herbs to flowers.
