Owned, run and led by women, Free The Label is a small business that operates with equality, honesty and integrity at the core. We lead from our hearts, have compassion for our suppliers, employees and the Earth and believe that quality products can only be produced in quality environments. We do things mindfully and with the best of intentions, approaching life with a “less is more” outlook and striving to constantly improve our impact on the planet.

We use sustainable fabrics, ensure ethical work practices and embrace the principles of slow fashion by focusing on creating quality products with a low cost per wear.

Where are your products made and by who?

All of our products are beautifully hand-crafted from sustainable fabrics sourced from France and Belgium. We produce our collection on the Island of Bali and carefully oversee our production facilities to ensure our supply chain supports fair labour and working conditions and above standard wages. As a small business, we intentionally partner with small women-run factories as a way to support the local economy. We strive for zero-waste production and place patterns as tightly as possible to minimize off-cuts which we then repurpose into small accessories like our masks and scrunchies.

We pride ourselves on creating beautiful, timeless not-so-basic-basics, crafted to be worn, loved and cherished in your wardrobe for years to come. Bodice is elasticated above the bust and around the lower ribs for a comfortably snug fit.
