Ingredients

We use certified organic wherever possible, and source locally wherever possible. Our products contain real wholefoods, respectfully sourced from the earth and not a lab.

Packaging

We’re almost finished our transition into fully sustainable packaging. Most of our range is in plastic free recyclable canisters, and all bars wrappers are 100% home compostable.

Operations

All of our food manufacturers are based in Australia. We ship your orders in recycled cardboard boxes or compostable mailers, our warehouse operates paper free, and we use carbon neutral couriers.

Manufactured in a facility that also processes products containing tree nuts, milk, eggs, sesame, fish, shellfish, soy and lupin. 

1. Add 2 heaped teaspoons (6 g) to a little hot milk of choice.

2. Stir to combine, then add remaining milk to make 200 mL.

Optional: add maple syrup or local honey for extra sweetness.

Is Mermaid Latte suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women?

Yes! In saying this, Nutra Organics does advise to seek the advice of your primary health care professional if taking any of their products for the first time while you are pregnant or breastfeeding. They only say so as they believe that every pregnancy is different, taking a toll differently on each individual body in vitamin, mineral and energy levels. They invite you to research the product to ensure that you are not sensitive to any particular ingredients.

Are the herbs extracts or whole herbs?

Mermaid Latte utilises whole herbs. It is of the utmost importance to Nutra Organics that all members of the family can enjoy the majority of their products and that, where possible, they use the most “whole” form of the ingredient available.

Is Mermaid Latte vegan?

Mermaid Latte contains Manuka Honey, so it is not vegan. 

Is it gluten free?

Yes! The recipes do not contain any gluten containing ingredients and Nutra Organics makes sure that they are manufactured and packed in a gluten free environment. 

What does Mermaid Latte taste like?

Mermaid late is a gently spiced chai latte. The unique combination of spices leaves a warm feeling in your mouth which compliments the delicate sweetness of the coconut milk and Manuka Honey. If you have a sweet tooth you may like to add some additional sweetness from organic coconut sugar, maple or local honey.

What is Mermaid Latte sweetened with?

The sweetness comes from a combination of coconut milk and Manuka Honey. On top of that, Nutra Organics have further enhanced the flavour with natural chai and monk fruit flavours.

Why do the spices in my Mermaid Latte float or sit at the bottom?

At Nutra Organics, they don’t add any stabilizers or instantizers to enhance the solubility of the spices to their formulations. Therefore spices may naturally float to the top of your latte or settle on the bottom, but you can rest assured it’s because they are the real deal. If you would like to reduce this, they suggest frothing the milk as this tends to keep them held in suspension a bit longer.
